Parent Teacher Association
The PTA is a vital part of our school community, working to support students, families, and educators through advocacy, programming, and community building.
- Advocates for students and families
- Updates parents and families about the school
- Plans and runs activities for parents and families
- Hosts parent workshops
- Organizes academic and social activities
- Raises funds for school programs
- Runs volunteer events
PA Meetings are held monthly on Thursdays at 5:30 PM
Membership
All of the following are automatically members of their school's PA/PTA:
- Parents
- Step-parents
- Legally appointed guardians
- Foster parents
- Persons in parental relation
Leadership
School Leadership Team
The SLT is a group of educators, parents, and community members who develop educational policies and ensure there are resources to support them.
- Provides ongoing evaluations of school educational programs
- Plays an important role in school-based decision-making
- Helps make school cultures more collaborative
- Develops educational policies and ensures supporting resources
Meetings occur monthly and are open to all community members.
